SKATEBOARDING & INLINE SKATING

Welcome to Camp Cayuga's skate park! Skateboarding and inline skating are growing in popularity, and have become two of our hottest activities. Skateboarding and inline skating are free choice activities that are offered daily to campers entering 5th grade and higher.

    SKATE PARK

The skate park is loaded with a variety of ramps and rails, including: straight grind rails, kinked grind rails, quarter pipes with and without rails, bank ramps with rails, roll-ins, wedges, spines, and a large half-pyramid with an angled ledge and wedge jump combo. The skate park also features a huge half-pipe measuring 40 feet long, 4 feet high, and 20 feet wide.

    TOP QUALITY RAMPS

All ramps were professionally designed and built by two of the industry's leaders: ‘Woodward Ramps & Rails’ and ‘Hot Rails’. Their ramps have an excellent reputation in the skate park industry for durability, ride-ability, and safety. The ramps have been constructed with the same stringent specifications required by community and professional skate parks. The skate surfaces are constructed with the best man-made material available. All ramps have galvanized steel edging as a safety feature to eliminate sharp edges.

    EXPERIENCED STAFF

Our instructors are experienced skaters, and qualified to teach skateboarding and inline skating at all levels of ability. If you're a beginner, you'll learn the basic fundamentals of skateboarding and inline skating. Instruction is patient and thorough. If you're an advanced skater, we'll help sharpen your skills and teach you a few new tricks. No matter what your level of ability, you're guaranteed to have fun at the skate park!

      EQUIPMENT & SAFETY

Safety is emphasized at all times. Campers are required to wear safety gear including a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist pads. Cayuga provides helmets in various sizes. Campers must bring their own skateboard and skates, along with safety pads.
